BACOOR CITY, OCT. 7, 2019: Col. Renwick K. Rutaquio (Ret), Regional Director of LTFRB (RFRO),  Region IV, Lipa City, visited Cavite Transport Cooperatives, at Board Room of Gardenia Kapit-Bisig Multi-purpose and Transport Service Cooperative (Gardenia).   With Director Rutaquio are Mr. Rolando Presas, Officer-In-Charge of LTFRB Region IV Satellite Office and Mr. Mario Gaffud, also of the said office.


The meeting was presided by Chairman Danilo “Danny” C. Hilbero of Gardenia and attended by 18 cooperative leaders of six (6) transport cooperatives plying various routes in Bacoor City.


Director  Rutaquio asked the group  for their  concerns and issues affecting their routes. Thereafter, Dir. Rutaquio said: “GUSTO KO LANG TALAGANG TUMULONG SA INYO”.   He assured all attendees that they will be given Provisional Authority (PA) to Operate on their respective routes (new and developmental),  within the jurisdiction of Region IV. All CPCs that may be issued as a result of said PA, shall be obliged to modernize their units on or before 30 June 2020, in accordance with the Department of Transportation Order No. 2017-011, otherwise known as the Omnibus Franchising Guidelines (OFG).  Dr. Rutaquio instructed all cooperative leaders present to have the vehicles of their members inspected with the LTFRB Bacoor Satellite Office and paint body markings indicating panel routes (front and both sides of vehicle). For routes originating from Region IV and ending NCR, Director Rutaquio will endorse their requests to LTFRB Chairman Martin B. Delgra III.
